During the processing of my corks into the braid, 2 additional materials are created. On the one hand, it is the cork powder/granules that are collected when the corks are drilled and on the other hand, there are short sections of twine that fall off as the end pieces of the threaded corks. A mass is created with a binding agent. This mass can be pressed into plaster cast molds or wooden formwork and hardens. The viewer can rediscover old, familiar forms such as torsos and busts through the experimentally processed materials and the resulting newly created structures.

Während der Bearbeitung meiner Korken zum Geflecht entstehen 2 weitere Materialien. Zum einen ist es das Korkmehl/Granulat das beim anbohren der Korken gesammelt wird und zum anderen sind es kurze Bindfadenabschnitte, die als Endstücke der gefädelten Korken abfallen. Mit einem Bindemittel entsteht eine Masse. Diese Masse läst sich in Gipsabdruckformen bzw. Holzschalungen pressen und härtet aus. Den Betrachter lassen sich alte bekannte Formen wie Torsen und Büsten durch die experimentell verarbeiteten Materialien und dadurch neu entstandenen Strukturen neu entdecken.
